Public Disclosure Information

The disclosure of NORCOM records is governed by appropriate state and local regulations. All phone, radio and Computer Aided Dispatch entries are recorded.

NORCOM will respond to requests within five (5) business days of receiving the request. In addition, reasonable time may be required for inspection and/or copying of public records.

NORCOM will respond by:

  1. Providing the record; OR
  2. Acknowledging the receipt of the request and providing reasonable estimate of time required to respond to the request; OR
  3. Denying the request and provide a written statement of specific reasons.

Inter-Local Agreements

Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 39.34, Inter-local Cooperation Act, permits a local government to enter into inter-local agreements with other public agencies in the interest of cooperatively sharing resources for their mutual benefit. In accordance with RCW 39.34, NORCOM has executed inter-local agreements with other public agencies for various purposes. RCW 39.34.040 allows a public agency to list inter-local agreements on its web site in lieu of having the agreement filed with the county auditor's office. The inter-local agreements shown below are posted here (www.norcom.org) to comply with RCW 39.34.040 and they have not been recorded with the King County Recorder's office. Original inter-local agreements are on file at NORCOM and may be accessed through a Public Disclosure Request.
